Amber Eggert

Amber grew up in Sioux Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School.  She then graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Political Science.  Amber graduated from Hamline University School of Law in 2006.

Amber returned to Sioux Falls after law school and spent the next nine years working as a Senior Deputy Public Defender for Minnehaha County.  During her time at the Public Defender’s Office Amber represented client’s accused of crimes ranging from petty misdemeanors to homicide.  She also represented at trial a client facing the death penalty.  Over the course of nine years Amber has amassed countless hours of courtroom experience representing clients during trials, motion hearings and other in-court proceedings.
